Molly Sneak Peek

Molly is the 4th addition for our friends, Lisa & Mike. When she sleeps - she sleeps! She didn't care what we did once she gave into Mr. Sandman. Lighting was a challenge in this session as the weather went back & forth between dark and cloudy to bright sunshine every few minutes! I definitely had to work for the perfect lighting for each shot. Here are a few of my favorites from Molly's newborn session. Thanks Lisa for all of your help!

Baby AC Sneak Peek

I love teeny tiny babies. This guy came 5 weeks early right before his Mama was scheduled to have her maternity portraits done. But she couldn't be happier - she's enjoying her little guy so much and those 'would be' maternity photos are long gone in her mind! AC decided he was not going to sleep much for our session and since safety is priority #1 when shooting newborns, he was too active for any posing. I am still pleased with his images and Katie, I know you cannot wait to see the rest! Thanks to you & Adam again!

 

Baby Noah Sneak Peek

This precious little guy stole my heart. Oh, how I miss that feeling of holding a newborn (my mom & MIL better not get any ideas)! He is a whoppin' 6 pounds :) and all love & snuggles. He was not up for much posing for our shoot and we wanted to keep him happy so we said OK, Noah, you get a pass for being so cute & new! These are my favorite shots from the session.

Baby Ties

Parker, my 8 month old, likes to help mommy break in new props. Can't you tell how much fun he was having in that second picture? Isn't this tie c-u-t-e?! I bought this same one & a polka dot tie for newborns too! That's my mom in the picture holding Parker.

Little Olivia

I've been able to watch Olivia grow into a big 4 year old. She has lots of spunk and knows exactly what she wants! She now helps her mommy out with her new baby sister, Sophia. These are some favorites I have taken of her over the years.

Byer Sisters

All I can say about these cuties is, they are way too fun! I love these sweet girls and they are the daughters of our friends, Lisa & Mike. I can't wait for their spring session when Lisa can dress them up in some darling outfits!

Polish Cutie

Ania is from Poland and one of those people who is always, always looking cute. She can dye her hair any color, cut it any style and still not lose her fabulous-ness - no fair! Had to share these great images with you.

Engagement

I was flattered when my friend Michelle asked if I would do her engagement session last spring! I called on my sister, Laura to help me with the shoot b/c I knew I'd need an extra hand with the reflector, balloons and flowers. Michelle married Daniel in October 2011. These are a few of my favorite images from the shoot. Michelle, I hope to get a call soon for maternity photos! ;-)

Modeling

This is the younger sister to a previous post 'The Beautiful Angela'. Angela did her hair & make-up and I happen to think she did a fantastic job! Jessica wanted to pursue modeling and we did a portrait session with several wardrobe changes. It was a long day but worth the experience.

Creative Christmas Cards

I came up with the idea to create a scene for our Christmas card based on the title from a Christmas song. This was our 2009 & 2010 cards. Can you figure out the songs?

Beach Babe

These were taken a few years back when I wanted to focus on better portrait photography. My youngest sister, Anna has always been a super-cute girl (she gets it from her older sis) and during a family vacation, we managed to get these great shots. Now she is expecting her first baby - can't wait to capture her maternity pictures! :)

The Beautiful Angela

These are my favorites of a childhood friend and taken a few years ago when I wanted to get into portraits. She visited for the weekend & we got these shots on the fly. Isn't she so pretty? She is in the hair & make-up biz which is why she looks flawless!
